The Shrunken Shen Tso in Water

She continued falling, and then she was suddenly plunged into water.

Shen Tso accidently swallowed several mouthfuls as she resurfaced.

Great. Just great. More water. Shen Tso thought.

Shen Tso couldn't see a thing because it was so dark. She just randomly began swimming in one direction.

Eventually, Shen Tso made it to dry land, but not before swallowing more mouthfulls.

She heaved herself onto dry land, and then wandered blindly in search of some wall to lean against.

Shen Tso found a rocky wall, and put one arm against that, the othe holding her own side as she coughed and spluttered.

Then, Shen Tso used the wall itself as a comparison point, and she realized that...

1. This water was making her grow.
2. She was shrinking again.
3. The liquid made her skin glow, and now she could see where she was.
4. Something else.
