The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14098

Shen Tso decided she would not let these circumstances dictate her response to this individual. Mustering her dignity, she crossed her arms and said, "I will not say anything until you stop pointing that crossbow at me."

"What?!?"

"I will tell you of myself, but not under this duress. If you agree with my stance, then we may meet and part as comrades. If not, then we shall undoubtedly fight, and one of us will perish. Either way, you shooting me here and now will accomplish nothing."

The man thought about this for a moment, then stepped back and lowered the crossbow. "Very well. Now, tell me - who are you, and do you fight for the dragon or against her?"

"My name is Shen Tso," she said, bowing slightly, "And I have come to these caves on a doubly-bound quest to slay the dragon who once bore my name."

For a moment, the man just stared at her. Then, he said:

  1. "It's about time you got here. Follow me back to the camp, and I'll get you some food and new armor."
  2. "Fiend! We will not allow the sacred dragon to come to harm!"
  3. "Wait, *you're* Shen Tso, and the dragon *used* to be Shen Tso?! I'm confused!"
  4. "I don't believe a word of it!"
  5. Something in a language Shen Tso didn't understand.
