The Rani smiled icily at the Master. "I'm sorry, but I must decline your kind offer. You see, I'd prefer to work with people less likely to double-cross me. Of course, they may need a little persuasion to help me. However, I don't anticipate it being too hard to convince them, when I:

  1. "Explain just what this 'ray gun', as the human called it, will do if used on those who aren't Gallifreyans."
  2. "Remind the Doctor that I have his TARDIS."
  3. "Point out to them that it isn't only you with a plot that could wipe out humanity."
