said, fear in her voice. Stacy bent over

those files? "Why this is
monstrous!" Stacy exclaimed (drawing looks from the other netizens in the

government has been hiding the true cause of the amnesia plague.
They're the cause, and stealing
people's memories is just the first part of their diabolical plan!"
Helen turned to look at Stacy.
"Diabolical?" she said. "Well it is, isn't it?" Stacy replied.

Stacy nodded. "Yep," Helen agreed, "that sure sounds diabolical to me." "And they used New York City as the staging ground for their first full scale test of their nefarious scheme!" Stacy exclaimed again, dramatically smacking her fist into her open palm. "Uh, are you ok Stacy?" Helen asked. "Why of course, why do you ask?" Stacy replied. "Well, because if I didn't know better I'd say that the government had somehow gotten to you and reprogrammed your memories with the brain engrams of Adam West," Helen answered.
