even though she knows that there is a lot of wild country to cross on the

the palace. She fears that the men may prove a liability, for they will
tend to draw attention
to her. She would much rather be accompanied by Belboz himself, for she
knows that
a powerful mage is the best ally that she could have. She doubts that he
will be willing
to leave his base in the Southern Caves, but she asks him anyway.
