Ouch, OUch, OUCH, BIG pain

She pulled the gown over her head, and suddenly found herself on her back, with her legs in the air spread apart. In between was a handsome young doctor speaking in soft tones "Come on Angela, not too much longer now, I can see the top of his head. Go on girl keep pushing"

Oh boy were you in deep now, that damned gown was for an expectant mother, and now she was you.

The pain that caused through her body was more agonising than any Lord Fred had felt, and yet for some strange reason the sheer excitement of giving birth to another human being counteracted at least some of the agony.

"Go on, your almost there" the doctors voice brought you back to this reality. The pain as such a comparatively large object passed through such a comparatively small opening was horrendous, but the ecstacy when the baby came out and Angela (as Fred now was) heard the first cry.

Her body felt completely drained by the experience, and yet the feeling of holding her new baby son, as he was rested on her chest, made the pain seem minor.

Angela was wheeled back to her ward while the baby was taken away for tests.

Two hours later, her son was brought back in to be with her, and she felt so wonderfully maternal as he suckled at her breast. Just then her husband Joe, who had stayed away because he hated the thought of seeing Angela in pain, arrived and kissed her sweetly. You could see from the look in his eyes how delighted he was, and how very much he loved his wife and new son.

Looking deep into Angela's eyes Joe asked Have you picked a name for him yet"

1. "Angelo after me"
2. "Joseph after you"
3. "Fred after someone I was once close to"
4. "No, I think we should decide together"
5. The once-knight burst into tears, overwhelmed by what had happened to him.
