Aslan was not upset by this reaction but simply roared "You are as you are for a reason and when you come to understand this then the time will come for you to come to me. Until that time just begin to enjoy the joys of the body which you now inhabit."

With that Aslan set off across the lake leaving Fred to take in the meaning of his wise words.

Could it really be that Fred looked as she now did for a greater purpose?

  1. Fred thinks stupid Aslan, what does a lion know anyway?
  2. Fred realises that Aslan is right and that he must come to terms with her new body
