Splat

Charlotte, in excitement to cut the cake, rushed forward, tripped over the edge of the rug and fell SPLAT! face first into her lovely cake.

She was totally devasted and picking herself up, rushed upstairs in a flood of tears, and fell onto her bed.

As Charlotte cried uncontrollably there was a knock at the door.

3. Freddie had come to see her
