The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1322

Sure enough, the book did say 'Manual.' Fred carefully lifted the dusty book and opened it. The first page had the bizarre title of "a Reporte on the vagarancies of the Human Corpus: How to Best serve Man."

"What IS this?" said Fred out loud.

Of a sudden the lava man reappeared saying, "*What IS this?* don't you mean *WHAT is this?* or could it be *What is THIS?*" And with that he was gone.

~~Lunatic for sure,~~ thought Fred.

Fred flipped through the book until page 93 caught his attention. It was entitled: "the Raw Man." He wondered if it pertained to the ettiquette of chivalry and how barbarians are so brusque and animalistic. The truth was far more disturbing. It began: "Raw Man is a delight for it presents the quality of Man in its natural form. Indeed, served cold, Man is a most scrumdidilicious meal."

"By all that is Holy! It's a cook book!!!"

"Indeed it is, young man," said a deep voice from behind Fred. "It is almost supper time, and we'd ALL love to have you for dinner!"
