Frederika comes to a clearing in the forest. In the middle of the clearing is a log cabin. Not a cabin made of logs, mind you, but a rather cheap plywood shelter hastily erected for the purpose of storing logbooks.
As she approaches, Frederika hears a hissing noise and becomes aware of an angry black feline sitting on one of the books. That would be the cat a-log, she thinks punnishly. Failing to see how the animal can help her find a book, she decides to ignore it and search the shelves manually. One thing's for sure, she thinks as she pulls out a random book and opens it. The builders of this must be really cramped for space if they have to store books out in the wilderness! Glancing through the first pages of the book she realizes it's a log of someone's journey - a travelogue, as it were. After checking several other books with similar contents, she starts looking more methodically and finally finds a book describing her own journey. Unfortunately it only describes her travels up to the point where she found the book and started reading.
