Just Plain Fred

"Wh- What? My father- disinherited me?" Fred asked, eyes watering.

"What are you griping about?" asked Robert, "What's on the note?"

Fred shoved it in Robert's face, "My father has disinherited me! I am no longer Frederigo D'Honaire! It says I'm now just plain Fred! They even took away my erigo!" Tears gushed out of Fred's eyes. He pounded on the boat, rocking it like mad, "They just can't take away my erigo! My erigo defines who I am!!"

Fred was now hopping up and down, rocking the boat and filling it with water. "Hey! Calm down! You're going to tip us!" Alexis and Astra shouted, in time for the boat to capsize.

Eveyone swam up towards the surface, spitting out water. "Fred, you fool! You deserve to drown!" Robert shouted.

Fred was struggling to keep his head above the water. The splash had knocked him back to his senses. He swam over to the overturned boat, and grabbed onto it. Everyone else did the same. His first thought was to get it flipped back over, when someone shouted "The food!"

Fred turned and saw some of the supplies they brought floating on the surface. Others he could see sinking just beneath. Before anyone else could say anything, he shouted "I got us into this, it's the least I could do!" and turned and swam off after the supplies.

1. Fred sucessfully retrieves most of the supplies
2. Fred retrieves a minimal amount of supplies
