“Oh, looky there, a couple of thugs!” Ted pointed ahead. “They must be
friendly,” he surmised. “Let’s introduce ourselves!” “Good idea, Ted,” the girl called Ashla concurred. “I can see why we appointed you as our leader!” “Thank you, Ashla!”“Your welcome, Ted!” “Group hug! Pelus, get over here!” The scrawny knight then motioned for both Bash and Tetch to join in. “Group hug, complete strangers!” Tetch smiled sheepishly and was about to take up Ted on his offer when a disapproving look from Bash made him reconsider.“Oh, I’m having so much fun!” Ted laughed as he embraced his fellow adventurers. “Isn’t the world wonderful!” Tetch’s eyes began to well up with the threat of full blown tears. “Just look at ‘em, Bash, aint they just the cutest bunch,” he observed. “Let’s let ‘em live!”Bash looked absolutely appalled. “Are you crying, Tetch!?” Tetch gave a valiant effort to stifle his tears, but couldn’t help but shed a few. “So what if I am, Bash!? When’s the last time we expressed our emotions so freely!? Hold me, Bash! Hold me while I cry!”Bash nearly stumbled over his own two feet as he struggled with his peer. “Get off of me! Get away! Stop it! Stop doing that! No!” “Don’t hold back your feelings from me, Hubert!”“What did you just call me?” Tetch froze. Oops.“Did you just call me Hubert!?” Tetch fidgeted uneasily. “Yes,” he admitted. “But it’s not such a bad name. I apologize, however. I just got carried away in the moment.”Bash’s face began to redden as sweat collected on his forehead. He started to convulse, then went into an all out seizure, flopping about on the ground like a fish out of water. “Is he okay!?” Ted asked worredly.Tetch shrugged. Well it didn’t take long for the entire camp to wake due to Bash’s epileptic fit, and you can damn well bet they wanted some answers. Especially since there were now three intruders amongst them.
