The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12333

Stacy decided that, in spite of her initial success, to try to take out the cultist in unarmed combat would be pushing her luck; and even if she first grabbed the knife she didn't think that she would be credible if she tried to threaten him with it; so she simply ran for it.

Ideally she would have liked to rescue Lee, but she couldn't see how she could hope to find her. Failing that, she wanted to find her way out of the building, so that she could at least raise the alarm, but she wasn't even sure that she could do that. The place was like a maze.

  1. Before she had run more than a couple of paces, a voice from the side corridor shoured: "Stop!"
  2. She managed to get clean away.
  3. The cultist made a quick recovery and came after her.
