The Never Ending Quest - Episode 119219

"I know you are a goblin, and you have been for years," Annix explained to the terrified Vulbi, "but you were once a knight, and the entire realm lay upon your shoulders. This was a heavy burden which you bore with honor, and your kingdom is still in peril. You must not forget who you are."

Vulbi was trembling, beset with suddenly resurging memories from long ago, ones she still - even now - could hardly believe were true, so distant and gray they were. "But," she said, her lower lip trembling in a most unbecoming way, "but clan - Dreeg?"

  1. "They are only facets of a false life," said Annix, gentle but firm. "They pale in comparison to the oath you have sworn."
  2. "I know they are your family now," said Annix. "I cannot tell you what to do. I only come to remind you who you are. I could not sit by and watch Belboz take it away from you."
