Astra's Alternate Adventure

Sir Seeker said, "Fred, you are going back to the beginning. You will get placed right in front of the two entrances of the cave, and combat the dragon. You will have no memory of this."

Fred said, "Well, Astra. This means good-bye. I am sorry to part like this."

Astra replied, "Good luck with the dragon."

As Fred left, Sir Seeker said, "Astra, we are going to place you in a better world. A lot of the devices of the fairy tales of your youth - crystal balls that can see across long distance, flying carpets, fountains of youth - these, in some form, exist in the world that you will be born into. Of course, it will all seem normal to you, as you will not remember anything about your past life. But your soul will have the opportunity to live once more."

Astra replied, "Thank you, Sir Seeker."

And Sir Seeker dismissed Astra, as she began another adventure.

And the story begins, at the point where ....

1. Astra plunged into the water. She smelled a hint of the chlorine in the water, and extended her arms out to start swimming as she rose to the surface.
2. Astra fumbled with her keychain. There were three identical-looking keys, and six drawers in front of her. It was time to get started.
3. Astra donned her pulpit robe and stole, and took a deep breath. Her brief sermon today would be her first introduction to most of the congregation of her new church, and she was nervous.
