A "buh-GOK" immediately escaped her, and she brought her hand to her mouth, horrified, but in trying to cover it, she jabbed her palm into something pointy, and brought it away, shaking it in mild pain. She tentatively brought her fingers back up to investigate, and found her nose and mouth entirely gone, replaced by a petite beak, and a fleshy wattle hanging underneath it. She was horrified as she repeatedly pulled on the latter, but she could not express her horror, finding her beak rigid.
