Anna of the Squirrels

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 118552

Anna enjoyed watching the ubiquitous squirrels of the woods, and from their example trained herself to climb trees. She wasn't graceful or strong, but with great amounts of practice, she eventually became skilled enough to feel safer in the lofty branches than she did on the forest floor, the risk of falling having become lesser than the risk of being attacked by some predator.

It took a long time, but eventually, the squirrels became used to her. As Anna was now spending very little time on the ground, her horse Bella eventually wandered away. But Anna had found a new family now.

Seasons passed, and her husband didn't come looking for her. At long last, Anna began to feel safe.

  1. But she was terribly malnourished and weak, and when winter came, she became very sick.
  2. Slowly, Anna built a small treehouse to live in, a shelter from the elements.
  3. Anna began to learn how to tap into druidic magic, transforming herself into a squirrel and back at will.
