He made no move to stop her.

As she flew through the forest on the back of her steed, she felt high as the clouds, even though, in the back of her mind, she knew she would regret this immensely later. After a few minutes she slowed down from a gallop to a fast-paced trot, and as evening fell, she dismounted and let her horse rest and graze. As she sat in the grass and watched it, she found that she couldn't really remember upon what foundation her old self had built his values, particularly his adamant loyalty to the kingdom of Allaria. What had his family been like? He'd... he'd had a sister, right? Or was it two?

  1. Abruptly she sprang to her feet. What had she done? She had to get back to Belboz before she lost the last scraps of her past!
  2. Maybe she was only thinking this because her mind was addled, but at once she decided it was better to be a free blank slate than a woman enslaved by the memories of an irrecoverable life. She would continue on.
