The Never Ending Quest - Episode 118110

Rubus got to work molding the earth into a humanoid shape and finding more soil to incorporate into its form that the already-magical soil would accept, to make it as large, strong, and imposing as possible. From there he began the long, complex process of coaxing its intelligence back to the fore and enchanting it to follow his commands.

This process took many months, culminating in the new creature rising blearily to its feet. It was a full nine feet tall and made entirely from dirt and small bits of stone. Its form was crude and lacking in detail, but decidedly humanoid. It was, to get right down to it, a brute: lacking speech or fine motor skills, but incredibly strong.

  1. It remembered what it had been, and was terribly confused as it tried to understand what had happened to it.
  2. Though it had Fred's intelligence, it had retained nothing else. This was, for all intents and purposes, its first moment.
