The next few days were a whirlwind of activity. Fred was shuffled from person to person, and eventually learned that her final destination would be the palace of Allaria, where she would be received and examined by Arahim, King Embron's court wizard. She was a mess the entire time, weeping frequently and just keeping quietly to herself, constantly staring down at her body.

Finally, she was loaded up on a wagon, and the journey home began. She was terrified of confronting people she knew like this, but hopeful that she would receive help.

  1. The wagon was accosted by brigands and she fled into the woods to avoid capture
  2. They arrived safely after weeks of travel
