Fred sighed. It had been too much to hope, that the dragon could be slain by magic from afar, but it had been worth trying.

"When I do face the dragon, would you be able to assist me in battle using your djinn powers?" he asked.

"Yes, Master," both djinn replied in unison, seemingly grateful that they could be useful to their Master. "You can use wishes to have us help you in the fight, but the dragon is too powerful to be slain by our magic alone."

With this new knowledge, Fred decided

1. to rest for the night, then transport himself and the djinn to face the dragon
2. immediately go to face the dragon
3. have his djinn recruit more djinn to help in the fight, but only from those willing to be transformed
4. to do something else
