When Clothing is Needed

"I don't see any harm in telling you," she said, "since you will never be in a position to pass the information on. No, we don't wear clothes while in the caves - the Dragon has helped us to see that it is better for us to be naked - but sometimes we need to go outside to gather intelligence about the intentions and capabilities of those who would oppose us, or even simply to get supplies. We can hardly grow food in the caves, after all. If we remained naked we would obviously be very conspicuous."

"I suppose that makes sense," Fred conceded.

1. They arrived at the Dragon's lair.
2. As they neared the Dragon's lair, they passed other naked Dragazons going about their business. Fred was startled to recognise one of them, a young woman who had disappeared from the Allarian court in mysterious circumstances a year or two ago.
3. Something happened to distract Fred's escorts, giving him the chance to try to escape.
