Fred's mind was still working very slowly, and she struggled to understand the meaning of the words. Father? Why him, specifically? Marcelina went on, "It's been twelve years. Your body is roughly thirty now, but I'm going to try to de-age you again, and return you to him. My father Arius has recently been arrested, and we've found a few other transformed people on this property. I'm so sorry I never realized." Arius... Belboz... That was right, Fred had agreed to masquerade as his daughter... "I know this is a lot, but we must make haste; your father is waiting. Come with me, Hannah," Marcelina said gently, and Fred found herself rising slowly, her hands in Marcelina's, as if in a dream. Her voice calmed her tremendously, and as Marcelina gently tugged her along, Fred's mind slowly, and very slowly, began to clear. Marcelina instructed her to stand in the middle of a circle of runes drawn on the floor, and Fred complied without resistance, though something niggled at the back of her mind, saying she shouldn't let this happen.
