Frita relished the horrified but helpless frenzy in the man's mannerisms as he shrank down, down, down, until he himself was fairy-sized. A pair of dragonfly wings sprouted from his back. With that, all of Frita's animosity vanished. He had joined the fair folk! She smiled, and came forward to greet him. Though they had the power to initiate certain races into their own ranks, they could not fine tune their appearances. His skin was the color of sand, his hair a boring brown. He would stand out for being so plain among the colorful population of Blueleaf, but this was still an invaluable gift they had given him. Naturally, he looked panicked all the same. "What have you done to me?" he yelped, his voice much higher than before, as he tried to cover his nakedness. "We have given you the privilege of joining the fair folk," said Frita. "No longer will you be able to take us from our homes. This arrangement benefits both you and us. And don't worry, I'll have a lovely tunic made for you in no time. What is your name?" "S-Samuel," the man squeaked. Frita, along with all her friends, pulled a face. "That won't do at all. Here, you shall be called Silvyr. Come along, now. Welcome to Blueleaf." The fairies ushered along the reluctant Silvyr, and Frita was already planning out what sort of outfits to make for him. They would have to be very colorful to counteract his plain appearance, of course. Later that day, she presented a still-naked Silvyr with a tunic made from a variety of orange, yellow, blue, and pink petals, and he pulled it on quickly. After he was dressed, Frita surveyed him. He was still such an ugly thing, but at least the tunic looked nice. He looked at her in fear and said, "Frita, right? Please, you must change me back. I'm sorry I took that fairy, I promise I'll never do that again." Frita replied,
