"Come, Marcelina," said her father to her then, "Tillia and her mother have just arrived. Let us go greet them."

"Okay, Daddy," she said, putting her hand in his, and as they walked away she did not so much as glance at Fred, who immediately began tearing through the crowd, looking for Belboz.
