The Never Ending Quest - Episode 116868

Hannah automatically released a slightly uncomfortable chuckle at the bluntness and absurdity of the answer, but a split second later registered that the man--Jay Zorris--looked deadly serious. This realization abruptly silenced her, and for a moment neither of them spoke.

Presently the man continued, "I don't believe Jay Zorris was the name I went by when you met me--why it might have even been my real name in fact, but that is neither here nor there."

"Uh huh," said Hannah, rather beginning to wish she were anywhere but here with this weirdo, and, hoping to stump him, said, "So go on then. Interpret the dream, or just plain explain it. How did you change me and why did you put me here? What important thing did you keep me from doing, and why are you here now?"

The man didn't take long to reply,

  1. "Of course, of course. You were a questing knight trying to slay the dragon terrorizing your kingdom and I turned you into a pretty little girl and sent you here to keep you from achieving that goal. As for why I'm here now... that's a longer story."
  2. "Well, you were a powerful warrior who lost your family to the tyrannical king of the kingdom of Allaria. I changed you by de-aging you and suppressing your memories, to protect you from your quest for revenge. But now I need your help to destroy Allaria.
  3. "Ah, you won't be getting answers so easily, I'm afraid. This situation is much more complex than you could begin to guess."
