The Never Ending Quest - Episode 116865

Hannah's eyes opened wide. How could this Jay Zorris possibly know about her recurring dream? She could not recall ever having mentioned it to anyone. Could he be bluffing? If so, it was a very strange coincidence. And why would he want to bluff her anyway? What could he hope to gain by it? Well there was an obvious way to tell if he was bluffing. "So what happens in my dream?"

"In your dream, a wizard has plucked you out of some medieval kingdom and put you here. He changed you somehow, but in the dream you can't quite put your finger on how. You have the feeling that you need to go back to do something important. The dream always ends with the wizard laughing at you, and then you wake up."

"That's exactly right! But how could you possibly know all that?"

  1. "Because I am what you might call a dream telepath. I don't have access to people's waking thoughts but only to their dreams. Ever since you had the dream for the first time I've been trying to track you down, and now I've finally succeeded."
  2. "Because I am that wizard."
  3. "Because when the wizard's misdeeds were finally exposed by the Council of Wizards, we set out to try to track down all his victims, and to put things right for them as far as we could. You were the hardest to trace and to reach of all, not surprisingly."
  4. "I'm sorry, but I can't tell you that just yet."
