That pesky butler

It was the butler, Ulfric. "Princesses!" he called. "What's all this, then?"

Mira glanced at her... "sisters"... and, seeing them all wide-eyed and lost for an explanation, quickly said, "Lady... Elizabeth Wallton, pleasure to meet you."

"An honor, milady. I am Ulfric, the butler here at the castle of Gully. May I ask where you are going?"

"Of course, that would be an eminently reasonable question to ask," said Mira sweetly. "You see, I was talking with the princesses and mentioned that I have done a fair amount of traveling. They were fascinated by my stories and I offered to show them some artifacts and souvenirs I have collected, several of which I have in my caravan."

Ulfric glanced to the princesses, who all nodded vigorously. He said

  1. "Very well, it's good for the princesses to see a bit of the world. Take all the time you want"
  2. "Very well, but I must insist that a few guards accompany the princesses. I hope you understand"
  3. "I'm sorry, but I cannot allow that. None of the princesses are to leave the castle"
