Isabella went to Hildegard and asked for payment for her work up until now. Hildegard was puzzled by her change in tune but complied, reminding her that now Hildegard owed her nothing and she'd have to continue to work for another three weeks or so to afford a map and three decent sets of questing clothes. Isabella acknoqledged this, albeit rather unhappily, and took the money outside to give to her sisters.
