The five women wake up around the same time, as they were each administered the same dosage of the sleeping potion. They presently begin to recall what had happened, and all begin to stand, staring at each other, not even paying attention to their surroundings just yet. They touch each other's faces without restraint, their mouths hanging open, and several times they all whisper things like "Are you... Am I..." just trying to come to terms with what has happened to them. Soon though, Marigold ceases this behavior, as it is impolite and even indecent, and after several minutes the others begin to follow suit. "What's happened to us?" asks Hannah, the smallest of them, in a small voice, instinctively hoping that her elders will have answers.
