Since Fred is a proud warrior, he can choose to sink or swim. Fred naturally decides to save his own ass from this most disturbing fate.

Besides, the stench is unbearable, and the water splashing into his mouth as he struggles to survive is horrifying.

1. Fred makes it out alive.
2. Fred closes his eyes, holds his breath, and rides it out down the whirlpool.
3. Suddenly, and mercifully, time reverses in a blinding flash.
4. Fred loses his life.
