Belboz raised his hands, and they all found that they had frozen in place. They could only move their mouths to speak - except Freda. She was, after all, just a harmless cow. Still, she mooed in distress as Gabriel cried in outrage, "Belboz! What is the meaning of this?"

"Of course I never really meant to make a weapon to defeat the dragon! I made all that up! And you bought it easily, and brought me all kinds of goodies." Belboz grinned in self-satisfaction. "But these four are all I really wanted. Now, what to do with you now that you've outlived your use..." After a moment of pondering, Belboz waved his hands in a grand gesture and

  1. turned the three of them into children.
  2. turned the three of them into ogres.
  3. turned the three of them into cows.
  4. turned the three of them into stone.
  5. wiped all their memories.
  6. wiped all their memories - including Freda's.
  7. transported all of them straight to the dragon's lair.
