And so she did. For several minutes she talked, about structural weaknesses of the castle, personal weaknesses of the royal family, authorities within the army who were not entirely suited for their posts, resources which were limited, powerful enemies of the kingdom, and so much more. She spoke in a complete monotone, as if she were reading from an encyclopedia. As she ran through the list and descriptions, Josh took notes, asking for various details. He'd been told that he would be sent one of Allaria's most trusted knights, but in a weak female form. From there, he'd just administered a simple sleeping potion into her IV, along with one that acted as a strong and consistent sedative, to keep her compliant. The job was simple. In exchange for a beautiful woman, he would acquire all the information he could about the weaknesses of this kingdom, and pass it along to his contact. He did not know who it was, only that it was an enemy of Allaria, the same kingdom in the same world that this knight-turned-woman had come from. That contact would probably have more specific questions as their plans progressed, but he was sure this was sufficient to get started. After about half an hour of questions, he administered another sleeping potion, and carried the sleeping girl to bed. He didn't have the capabilities to create an entirely new set of memories to suppress her old ones, but the one other potion he'd administered had made her very prone to fill in the blanks herself. That, combined with the sedative, would hopefully be powerful enough to overwhelm the knight in her entirely, and turn her into the perfect woman for him. And in the meantime, he could keep getting information out of her, and she'd never be any the wiser.
Fred woke up slowly, and stretched luxuriously, a light smile playing on her lips. It took her several seconds to wonder why she felt so content and comfortable, but she really did. She didn't even bother trying to recall where she was or how she'd gotten here before sliding out of bed and heading for the shower. After getting clean, she likewise selected a clean dress from her closet, a lovely pink and white floral print one. It wasn't until she was carefully doing her makeup in the mirror when it hit her. What... what was she doing? Why? Why did this feel so normal and natural to her? She was just beginning to feel a dim sort of fear when Josh appeared at the bathroom door, and her worries dissipated. "Babe," he said in awe, "you look amazing." She giggled. "I was thinking we'd go out today, just us. It's your last day before starting your new job, after all. Where would you like to go?" She frowned slightly, though she wasn't sure why. After a moment of thought she said,
