Nadia tried to pretend she hadn't been here before, which wasn't too hard. She didn't draw attention to the storage closet until it was the logical next place to look. They searched it thoroughly, until they reached the back shelf, where Nadia had found him and the other fairy.

  1. But she had been placed inside a much thicker jar with a clamp over the lid, and when they tried to touch it, their hands burned.
