Fairies in a Human Settlement

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 115711

It was still a good ten days of flight before they found this settlement - no humans lived anywhere near their perfect fairy haven, of course - but still they were surprised by how quickly they had found it. What luck!

It was an unspoken truth acknowledged only with grim exchanged glances that with no idea where Blueleaf was in relation to the human world, and indeed no familiarity with the human world, it would be impossible to find Allaria or Aqualaria without first finding some direct reference to their locations that they could follow. But talking to humans was risky; fairies and humans simply did not often intermingle, for they could easily be dangerous to each other.

  1. Fortunately, fairies had the abilities to disguise themselves as insects, so Frita and Arion did so to fly about the town, searching for any reference to the places they were looking for.
  2. But they felt their only real chance of success lay in taking that risk and asking a human for help.
