Frita was not quite sure she understood what this entailed, but nonetheless a bubbling excitement and wonder rose inside her, and she happily joined Celeste in chatting about what business Queen Amaralis might have here.

Sure enough, the following day, the home tree was all abuzz with anticipation, and that dusk, she arrived, preceded by an entourage of beautiful fairies scattering petals before her. She was clad in a long, shimmering gown of silver and blue, her skin white as snow and her eyes shining like stars. She glimmered with an ethereal beauty that left every fairy, including Frita, absolutely awestruck. When she looked upon her, she felt all her troubles melt away. Frita immediately understood why it was considered the greatest honour in all of fairydom to serve in her court.

With a voice as soft as a rainfall, Amaralis addressed the community as a whole, and explained her purpose in coming here.

  1. She sensed an imbalance in the magic of the forest, and was here to investigate.
  2. She wanted to add some new servants to her court.
  3. She wanted to form a task force for a special mission in the human world.
  4. A special celebration was upcoming, and she was here to bestow magical gifts upon a select few she deemed worthy.
