Aaron stood in the doorway, observing the sleeping toddler. She was a beautiful child, with a full head of messy golden hair and a darling face. Though this hadn't been his purpose, he couldn't stifle a thrill of excitement at the thought of taking care of her. He'd always wanted a daughter.
