The Never Ending Quest - Episode 115344

Muriel was a simple but kind woman who knew of Belboz's magic but of course had no inkling as to the buried identity of her new daughter. Naturally, she also had no idea that Belboz had cast a love spell on her in order to convince her to marry him, as otherwise, she could not have. She didn't know about the frequent instances of magical influence, when Belboz would wave his hand to change her mood or make Hannah drowsy or fix any minor inconvenience that he was faced with. She was largely clueless about the true nature of her new family.

While her husband worked on potions and spells, she cooked and cleaned and spent time with Hannah. She never had any wish to step outside, and was happy just to spend her time as Belboz instructed.

Time passed, and Hannah grew. The family, however, did not; Belboz had no desire to have any children of his own.

  1. One year later, Belboz decided to enchant Hannah to stop growing, remaining at the age of seven for all time.
  2. Two years later, Belboz's mountain home was overrun by goblins, forcing the family to relocate.
  3. Three years later, when Belboz was away on a long business trip, a stranger came knocking at the door.
  4. Five years later, Belboz had become disenchanted enough with family life that he decided he'd had enough of it.
  5. Ten years later, Hannah was of marrying age, and Belboz set about trying to find/enchant the perfect suitor for her.
