In private while discussing with me and the other elder sister on just WHAT that meant here. The Rule of this particular reality was without a trace of warmth or any shred of humanity to it. More of a machine/computer rather than anything else in regards to other’s feelings or interest: an embodiment of the natural laws of the universe. Like gravity, it will pull a person down to their death even IF you are a saint. Even if you are a sinner. Even if you are a innocent child.

It does it’s duty regardless. No compassion.

And . . . .acting like it is almost WANTING us to fail, truth be told. Almost malicious seeming, really how it is doing the bare bones minimum to fulfil it’s obligations.

See, the notice (in the form of a small envelope) just popped into existence and fell to our “rescuers” feet, well after what could/should have been prevented has happened.

Aslan was able to slow the conversion from anime physics to “real” with the people from the Fate series universe here, not stop it.

What? You’re saying that surely Jesus Christ (who Aslan represents in the Narnia Chronicles) would be able to prevent something like that.

No. This particular Aslan is . . . part of a race of magic Lions who have been delegated a task of building/caretaking various versions of a place called Narnia. Some are just spot on to the book version.

Some of those Aslans out there definitely come across as Chumps, and JESUS CHRIST IS *NOT* A BLOODY CHUMP!!

Sorry, just a pet peeve about certain . . .people I’ve had the displeasure to meet online from time to time. Usually better than that with my patience by recent trials (l am looking at you Rin) have been wearing it rather thin.

Anyway those delegate Aslan’s Nartia mirrors the actual Higher Up/Upper Management Clestrial named Aslan’s Narnia.

And whether or not that Aslan/Jesus is part of the One I and others back on Terra Prime worship in the Christian Community?

. . .Aslan’s not saying. I mean *my* Aslan’s not saying no matter how much I pry.

But the bottom line here is that there is going to be Hell to pay when we all get back to the world we are trying . . .back to what is left of the Living world we are trying to save. Not that burnt out shell beyond the Dome.

Instead of years, we have hours at most and that is NOT something we are going to SHARE with the other Non-Champions here. Not with the children present especially, not with the adults.

They can’t do anything to change things or even HELP us. Not powerful enough even after the Axiom Wash conversion for what we need here. My card shuffling/scrying of them showed me that much in addition to everything else.

And why is this unawakened Rule trying to “screw us over” by doing the minimum? It is in part I know from the Briefing for the Quest due to this particular universe having already been killed of all life except for the remnants on this particular Fate Earth.

The Dome Builders are something of the bastard, let us just say. Doing all sort of vile things with their Time bending/breaking Arts. Like whatever caused the Grail to merge with the Dome, freezing all within until now. Well beyond what usually is allowed by pure science or magic….

Like the thing from between Realities that slipped into this universe and snuffed out all forms of life outside the Dome and will piggy back on anything living leaving that reality to other realms to repeat the process.

It is called in some circle’s SCP 2935. Based on some horror stories as mission brief write ups found on various Internets on various Earths.

This Rule, while I consider something of a complete Bastard, is dragging it’s feet for a reason. The sooner this Quest is done, the better for the wider multi-verse!! When the Dome collapses, there will be a reaction between what is left of the universe’s physics with whatever “real world” matter I and my friends and associates will have left behind. Sand. Exhaled gases. The large swaths of land that will become “real” from the sudden Axiom Wash our anime friends will bring with them as they convert upon returning.

They are practically swimming in it. Anything and everything alien exposed to the wider anime universe here will be . . .catastrophic. It will cause the complete destruction of it because while the Dome acted as some kind of shield to the reality at large, once gone things will break and break hard, booting SCP 2935 back out into the void between realities where it belongs!!

And the quickest way for this Quest to be done, which the Unenlightened Rule is obligated to wait here? Have us fail!!

Sigh, I know we agreed to help Medea (and now her sisters) with their Validation Quest. . . .but for the love of God WHY?!

We give the kid friendly version—we have children here--of what our Quest is about: saving the last remaining humans from being incinerated by completing an overly complicated magic Ritual that will bypass what is left of the Dome’s security measures (the Dome Builders don’t like their prey from escaping and are devilishly clever).

That and a small rundown of the “misunderstanding” we had between the Berserker brothers of the Fifth Grail War (the three Herculeses).

They chased us all over town trying to get back their Masters from us, thinking that we were going to kill them to win the Grail War and get a wish from the Grail

We “kidnapped” them to talk to the Ilya sisters to get Berserkers to stand down. To not attack and kill us all!!

And we wouldn’t have even had to do that if Medea Prime’s (our Medea) teleportation spell hadn’t been distorted by basically the magical rituals that had cleansed Saber of Heaven’s Feel back to her normal self (re: 109218).

We did NOT mention that though we’d had five years before the Earth would be swallowed by the Sun there would have been the other issue of . . . merging minds/souls due to . . .some long winded and darka side effects of the Dome giving off mystical radiations from the failing system of Ley Lines.

Don’t ask unless you have a Master’s in meta-magicks and quantum mechanics. Eh, give ME a headach and I have more letters behind my name in reality than what is in the English language!!

Yeah, and by the way that is why I am so less opposed to using Transform Gates to have gotten some of the population. By the time such measures were needed, those poor souls would have otherwise be beyond salvaging their sanity.

They might have had only vague memories of their former lives and bodies, but . . .they would be sane enough to live a normal and full life.

They didn’t ask and we’re NOT telling, than YOU!!

Hey, we didn’t even tell the Servant vast powers and very continued existence within the Dome (in the earliest days at least) was maintained by the “audience” who were needed for their Legend to stay intact.

Without it, they’d have faded even with the Dome otherwise freezing everyone and everything in some kind of stasis.

We’d had everyone NOT having been somehow featured in the anime shows as characters (or even “extras” watching them and now all of us, in a mindless daze.

And that is a big “no no” in the Magus circles. Weakens their power the more the outside world knows. Too many know and their spells and magicks would whither away to nothing. Something akin to too many people drawing from the water well. With enough people drawing, not even a drop can be gained to drink.

Oh, and I DID clear up one . . .misunderstanding. Seems that Rin and a few others thought that one of our "Noble Phantasm" equivalents was time based which allowed for some of our swift attacks/defenses with the Berserker brothers. ANd why some thought us as unforgivably rude and "amateurish".

The flow of time only goes at one speed in "real life". It going quicker and slower is only an illusion, unlike within the anime-verse we were visiting. In the anime version? Of their version of time flow? You can have banter during life or death fights and give each other their life stories. It is even expected as some sort of combat etiquette, for God's love!!

So when Rin tried to question us when we first met it . . .caused problems like causing . . .time to flow too slow initially for Ilya to command Berserker to stand down. Allowed all sorts of mischief including Shiro getting away while we were being bothered by Rin and getting . . .

Ah nevermind!! Rin's look of dawning comprehension at that fuck up is almost enough to accept her bows asking for forgiveness.

Not yet and not only to me for that one Rin...

Anyway, as for how to save things? The overly complex ritual we'd been planning on using?

Ah, but the reality of what must be done to save things?

Well, let me preface and put things in the best light when I say that my husband (bless his soul) happens to be even MORE prepared/paranoid than I am with being prepped for emergencies when it comes to . . .medical implants for treating non-Champions.
