It was the voice from the wardrobe! "What you did to me is reprehensible," she spat. "Two wrongs do not make a right." She hated the fact that this gave her so much pause. She started driving anyway, but the words nagged at her. "You chose this life. You now have a family, and you are abandoning them without a single word of explanation." "There is no explanation. None I could give them, that they would believe or understand. You... you will change me back. Give me back my life." "I most certainly will not. But here is what I will give you: another choice." All at once, the car was gone, and so was the road. Angela was falling, and screaming, just as she had been when the voice had dropped her, quite literally, in front of the wardrobe. But this time, she found herself in front of a jewelry box. "I'll give you the courtesy of knowing that nothing you choose here will undo your choice to become Angela," said the voice, "and no matter what, you will return to her life. But choose you must." Angela was trembling. She was sick of all the changes, all the magic. "Can't you just leave me alone?" she whispered, all the fight gone out of her.
