The Never Ending Quest - Episode 11379

As Stacy searched her computer's files, she found more or less what she had expected. The cache and history file of her web browser showed numerous sites about the phases of the moon and the mythology attatched to it. She'd even downloaded a number of modern psychological research articles on the validity of old "moon madness" superstitions. Her research had, apparently, turned up a number of articles on werewolf legendry, though she couldn't be sure if she had been purposefully searching for that or if it was simply a common related topic. Considering what she had seen on the scroll, the former was a disturbing possibility.

All of this, though, was more or less what she'd thought she'd find, Stacy reminded herself, considering the books and papers. It might all just be a paranoid theory of hers before she lost her memory the last time. Seriously, scroll or no scroll, it was absurd to think she was some sort of werewolf.

Stacy wondered at the meaning of the e-mail. The professor seemed to be one of the people who wanted to help her, yet she'd told herself not to believe him.

Her meeting with him oddly coincided with her latest memory lapse. What did that mean? Did he cause the memory lapse, or was it someone who didn't want her to remember the meeting? Could some entries in her journal be forged?

Just then...

  1. A knock came at the door
  2. The phone rang
  3. She heard a gunshot
