Ollie Ogilvy

A man briefly popped his head round the corner.

"Get over here," said Kester.

The man stepped out and looked suspiciously at Kester. He was a slight man with a round face that had a youthful look despite his receding hairline. He pointed at himself and mouthed the word, "Me?"

"Come here," said Kester. "We don't have very much time."

"Who's he?" asked Stacy

"He's Ollie Ogilvy," said Kester. "He's as unreliable as he is stupid but he's the one whose going to get out of here."

"Why are you picking on me?" said Ogilvy.

"Because you are the only one who knows how to unlock this door. Because you're the reason I got caught in the first place. And because you owe me." Kester's usually emotionless voice was full of venom.

"If they catch me they'll kill me," said Ogilvy, his voice quivering. "And I'm very partial to not being killed. Especially in the face."

"Just get the door open and get us out of here," said Kester.

"Then we'll get you out of here," said Stacy. "We've got a ship."

"I wouldn't have told him about the ship," said Kester. "You're better off not telling Ogilvy about anything that you don't want stolen."

"Come on Ollie," said Stacy in a gentle voice. "Help us so we can help you. You don't want to be stuck on this rock with those nasty men, do you?"

Ogilvy managed a timid smile and shuffled over to the lock. He pulled a small roll of tools from his pocket and started working on the lock.

"Do you think you can do it?" asked Stacy.

"Of course I can do it," said Ogilvy.

"He's a professional thief. He can open anything. " said Kester. "At least that's what he keeps on telling me."

The lock clicked and the door swung open.

Astra strode out. "We've got to get those bracelets back."

They won't be much use with that radio jammer in operation," said Kester.

"Where is it?" asked Astra.

"It's mounted in the Captain's personal freighter, in the landing bay," said Kester. But they have three armed guards permanently on duty."

"Leave that to me," said Astra. "Just get those bracelets and meet me in the landing bay."

"Come on Ollie," said Stacy. "I've got something for you to steal."
