Weapons locker

"I thought you don't have guns in Aqualaria," said Stacy.

"We don't. It was a rough translation. In the original Aqualarian it's a sword." Astra found a holster for the blaster and strapped it round her hips. "but you get the meaning."

Stacy picked an elegant looking pistol with a sleek white surface and pointed tip, like an elongated raindrop with a curved handle.

"Oh, very sexy," said Astra. She picked up one of the pistols herself. She held it at arms length, as if aiming to shoot then stuffed it into an inside pocket in her jacket.

Stacy got herself a holster which seemed to be little more than a waist band but found that the gun attached itself as if by magic. She looked up to see Astra holding a huge cannon that looked like it should have been too heavy to lift, with a barrel the width of a bowling ball.

"What do you think?" said Astra with a satisfied smile on her face.

"Oh, darling, its very you," said Stacy. "But I think a more subtle approach is called for."

Astra nodded and put the cannon down.

"And if the subtle approach fails," said Stacy, "we teleport back and use the ships batteries to blow them to kingdom come."

They made their way into the teleport room and stood on the glowing teleport pad.

"Carl," said Astra, "activate teleport."

Carl pulled a lever and there was a bright flash of light.
