The door slid open and a tall figure in a black armored space-suit strode in. His face was obscured by a curved black visor that extended from chin to forehead. The armor was scuffed and battle-worn but looked sturdy and made him look bulky and powerful. He was even taller than Astra and he surveyed the two captives with his hands on his hips.
"Lord Revenant, I presume, " said Astra, looking up at him defiantly. "I don't think I've had the displeasure of meeting you before." "Princess Astra," said Revenant, his voice deep and metallic, coming through some sort of mechanism in his suit. "We meet at last." Astra frowned and crossed her arms. "How can you possibly..." "Don't act so surprised, your highness," interrupted Revenant. "I have been aware of Aquilaria, your Gateway and your plot to invade this galaxy for some time." He pointed a gloved hand at Astra. "You will not find the Solidarity such easy prey." "I don't know what you're talking about," said Astra. "We're just travellers. Neutral observers in this conflict." "You're a member of the Aquilarian royal family and a spy. Take her away!" Two of the soldiers escorted Stacy and Astra out of the gateway room and down the corridor.
