Dressing for a space adventure

"Verily," said Astra pressing some keys and peering at a screen, "it shall be so. The gateway is on a space station."

"Don't we get to choose where we go?" asked Stacy.

"No that's not how it works. Safe travel is between these gateway stations. Doing anything else will drop you into an existing body. You could find your self in the body of someone else. Could be a man. Or a furry version of yourself. Or a bug-eyed alien." Astra pressed a few more buttons and a glowing doorway appeared on the far side of the room.

Stacy looked down at her street clothes. They didn't look right for a space adventure. "We going like this?"

"No," said Astra smiling. "This calls for some dress up fun!" She went to a wall and pressed a hidden button. A section of wall slid aside to reveal a cupbard and Astra started rummaging around inside for clothing. "You should take of those shoes for a start."

Stacy removed her heeled shoes while Astra pulled on a grey jumpsuit.

"You'd better lose the skirt as well," said Astra putting on some shiny trainers.

Stacy dropped her skirt, feeling a bit self conscious. Astra stood with her hands on her shoulders and looked Stacy up and down. "Take off your blouse."

Stacy felt her cheeks warming as she unbuttoned her top and removed it. Astra looked at her with the glimmer of amusement as she looked at Stacy in her bra and panties.

"You look rather fetching like that," said Astra. "But I suppose we'd better bring you some overalls. She picked up a jumpsuit and a pair of trainers, took Stacy by the hand and, before she could protest, led her through the glowing doorway.
