Stacy ran out into the night. It had started raining and the ground was wet under-paw. Then she remembered that she had left her clothes in the office and she was only wearing the hooded robe. She paused for a moment then decided wasn't going to go back into that warehouse full of naked, animal headed wierdos even to get her clothes back. She walked off down the road as fast as she could. With only the robe to keep out the rain, she became increasingly glad that the robe did have a hood and that she did have an insulating layer of fur. The fur that those cultists wanted to shave off. Imagine that! Even though they were the best link she had to her previous human form, she wasn't about to stand naked in front of a group of strangers and have every inch of her body shaved smooth.
She didn't know where she was going to go. She didn't even have a memory of where she lived or anyone she knew who could help her. A car pulled alongside her and a window rolled down. The car was:
