"Change into this," she said. "The box is for storing your clothes. Make sure you put all of your clothes into the box. And I mean all. For the ceremony you must be only wearing the robe."

Stacy realized that the office was being used as an ad-hoc changing room but there were men coming in as well as women.

"Isn't there a women only changing room?"

"We don't worry about that sort of thing here," said Deborah, unbuttoning her high necked nurse's uniform"

Deborah was a bit shocked by this and made sure she kept her head down and her eyes strictly to herself. She had never liked communal changing rooms, let alone a mixed-sex changing room. She used the robe to cover her body like a little tent while she stripped off her clothes. This was the first time she had seen her own new furry body uncovered. She had black fur on her legs, sand-coloured fur on her stomach. As she removed her bra she saw that she the sand fur covered her breasts except for two bare patches around her pink nipples. As she pulled down her panties she saw that the fur just continued and covered her pubic area which did at least feel a bit like she was clothed.

She wrapped the robe around her body and put on her hood. She still kept her head down and headed out of the office.

Deborah came out a moment later, also wearing a white, hooded robe and took her into the main warehouse space where everyone was gathering.

Deborah spoke to her. "You want to get in touch with your human side, right?"

"Yes, of course," said Stacy.

"Then go along with the ritual. It might be scary and unfamiliar at first but we are all humans here and should have nothing to hide from each other."

Stacy was puzzled by that last statement but before she could say anything, proceedings were underway.

There were about 30 hooded figures stood in a circle. A lion-man stepped into the center and spoke. "Welcome brothers and sisters. We will be welcoming an initiate today, Stacy, our human sister. And we are overseen as always by Brigadier Astra Aqualaria." He looked towards the rabbit morph Brigadier who saluted.

"But first we will start with the affirmations as always." The lion man undid his robe and let it drop to the floor. Underneath he was totally naked but Stacy was surprised to see that, apart from his furry hands and tail, he was completely hairless from the neck down. At the sight of his muscular torso and shockingly large penis, she averted her eyes.

"Look upon the glory of my true body, Brothers and sisters. I was human and I will once again be human."

Deborah nudged Stacy and whispered, "You have to look. It's rude to look away!"

Stacy slowly raised her head and looked at the man. He seemed to have no shame as he turned on the spot until he had displayed his body to the whole arena. He left his robe and stepped back. The next person to step into the arena was Deborah. She dropped her robe and stood in front of the crowd naked. She was also completely hairless from the neck down.

"Look upon the glory of my true body, Brothers and sisters. I was human and I will once again be human," she announced, shamelessly letting the assembled crowd to gaze at her naked form.

One by one, the animal-men and animal-women showed their hairless bodies. They all had bodies that were convincingly human if you ignored the animal heads, the furry paws and hairy tails. The feline bodies were slimmer and more athletic - small breasts on the women, less muscular but more athletic bodies. The horse men had scarily large penises, the vixens and lupine women had particularly large breasts. And the ursine men and women were very heavily built - huge muscles, fat bellies - but were still undeniably human bodies.

Even the Brigadier joined them. Her body was muscular, especially her oversized thigh muscles. Like the other animal morphs she had not shaved her tail and it looked almost comical, a fluffy white tuft just above the taught flesh of her hard, muscular buttocks.

The lion man spoke again. "And now Stacy stand before us and let us initiate you so that you may take you first step to returning your humanity."

Two naked vixens stood alongside him. Each had in their hands an electric hair clipper.

Stacy moved to the center of the arena and stood nervously.

"Now remove your robe," said the Lion man.
