There was no bed linen on the bed to interrupt Stacy's view, and she was quite naked. So she was able to see that from the waist down her body had been replaced by what would have looked like that of a rather more shapely woman than she herself had been, were it not made of some silvery metal.
At least the shock meant that she no longer felt groggy but was wide awake. Naturally she desperately wanted to escape, before even worse could befall her. Fortunately nobody seemed to have heard her scream, but even so she knew that she couldn't have long before someone came to check up on her. She wasn't sure if her new lower body would obey her, but she tried to swivel round and sit up and found that she could. Now came the difficult bit. Could she manage to stand on her new legs and get them to walk?
