The veil of magically induced sleep would make the unfortunate knight's mind a bit more difficult to examine, but she as a whole would be considerably easier to deal with, which was to Zaretha a reasonable tradeoff.
She held the woman's head between her hands, probing deeply into her mind until she felt she understood the unsettling depth of the hexes on her. She quickly got to work setting up a spell circle around her and brewing a potion with the limited supplies she had. There were a few items in particular that she wished dearly she had, but time was of the essence. She'd have to make an attempt now and try again at the castle if necessary.
