The Never Ending Quest - Episode 11220

"Captain's Log, supplemental.
Time procedures in place. The two Starlfeet members are squared away. Fortunately, we have three Vulcan ambassadors on board who are interacting with them for the sake of the Federation. Any knowledge of the future they gain can be supressed due to Vulcan mental disciplines.
Already there has been timeline pollution. I and three Ensigns have seen the future uniform designs. Also, there is no know record of the species Engisn Solomon appears to be. He is a visual mix of Earth racoon and human. There is precedent, for I have on board a Catian, who is a mix, visually, of Earth feline and human. (We have kept M'relene far, far away from Solomon. Not that she would violate my orders in any way, but just in case).
What has most disturbed me and led to the disjointed nature of this log entry is that the higher ranked officer, a lady with tightly constrained, very odd hair, has informed me there are more of her crew that should be on board.
Poor woman. I know what is is like to not know the fate of crewmembers. I ... still have nightmares about Lt. Dan and Lt. Forrest, who entered a Andorian Entertainment Temple near the Klingon border and were never seen again...
One of the Vulcans, T'mek, said he will come by in, what is it, five minutes, and inform me if the two are processed enough for me to speak to. Of course, all this on top of being stuck in the Delta Quadrant for three weeks. The only reason we even agreed to this jaunt in the first place is Section 31 reassured my bridge crew of the reliabillity of the Jump Device. I don't understand why that renegade Captain Kirk doesn't like Section 31. When I get back, I'm going to tell him how well we've been treated.
In conclusion, I trust my crew to handle temporal anamolies well, though, unlike Kirk, this is our first. I officially will be entering a commendation for the Vulcans, as they have been invaluable on this trip. Even though their presence is a ten minute long story in an of itself. And in other business, Ensign Decker should be commended for his holographic research. Why, for a few seconds now, he can make wood feel like wood. Log end."

  1. Back to the two talking with the Vulcans.
  2. The Captain gets up out of her desk in her quarters and unkinks her tail. M'relene should have some more tail-massagers. Having a fellow Catian on board was a godsend.
  3. So...what's the story with the Vulcans anyway?
  4. The Section 31 liason was literally stuck in his quarters. Not a good thing.
  5. Where did the rest of the landing party end up anyway?
